With the theme, 'TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP SUMMIT', the 2018 IIDC conference aspires to create, through its open and interactive teaching methodology, an apt environment for exchange of scientific know-how between international and national experts. The conference aims to offer an  interactive platform for two unique groups of delegates with the goal of addressing their specific learning needs in today's evolving times.

Group A

Recommended for practitioners with more than 5 years of experience and PG students

Didactics for Group A will be in line with the theme ‘Renew, Rebuild, Regenerate.’

Group B

Recommended for practitioners with less than 5 years of experience as well as interns

The theme, ‘Fundamentals Redefined’ for group B will be delivered via interactive demo stations, 'tell and do' sessions and lectures focused on the needs of young, emerging dentists of tomorrow.

IIDC 2018 is a special edition conference marked to celebrate 20 years of Smile Care CDE with New York University (NYU). Mr Ken Beacham, Vice Dean and Director of NYU College of Dentistry, has been invited to the conference to meet the NYU India Alumni group during the conference and to also have a more informal, candid interaction with alumni at the NYU alumni dinner.

IIDC 2018 - EVENT FLOW

IIDC 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on 16th, 17th and 18th February 2018 at D Y Patil Medical College, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

16th February 2018 – Pre-Congress Session

Registration for this day is open for Group A and Group B delegates and also for those who are not registered for the other two days of the conference. This full-day session will be conducted on the 6th floor of the venue.

17th and 18th February 2018 – Main Congress

Group A and Group B sessions will be held at the main auditorium on the 6th floor and the 5th floor respectively at the D Y Patil Medical College.

(Note: NYU alumni who are registered delegates can attend all 3 days on the 6th floor)

E-POSTER COMPETITION

The E-poster competition at the conference has been planned for the delegates to proudly share their clinical success stories with the opportunity to win laurels for their work. Click here for more details.

FREE WORKSHOPS AND LUCKY DRAWS

Trade partners at IIDC will showcase their best products at the interactive trade stations. They will offer free workshops of 30 minutes each. These are limited seat, ‘Tell-and Do’ sessions arranged for focused small groups to maximize engagement and learning. Attendance for these workshops will be strictly distributed on a first come first serve basis and participants will have to book their seat (Included in registration cost) at the company’s interactive station on the first day of the main congress.

Lucky draws will be announced at the main podium for Group A and Group B delegates. Every delegate registered before 31st Dec 2018 stands a chance to win dental materials!
