Dr. Mandar Pimprikar graduated in 1994 from Bharti Vidyapeeth Dental College, Pune. Since then he has maintained a speciality practice in Endodontics and Micro-endodontics. He completed his post graduate diploma in Endodontics from New York University College of Dentistry (Dept. of CDE) in 2006.

He is actively involved in continuing dental education and has conducted hands on workshops across the country and abroad. He has lectured extensively at 64 IDA branches in the country. He has presented at 5 state level IDA conferences between 2009 and 2015. He was an invited speaker at the national IDA conference in Feb 2016. He has also lectured internationally in Bangladesh and Indonesia on 4 occasions.

Dr. Pimprikar has invented and designed dental instruments and formulated irrigating solutions. These include the ‘Endo Irrigator Plus’, a continuous activated irrigation and evacuation system with warm sodium hypochlorite, which has been patented in India and internationally. Dr. Pimprikar has also formulated ‘Chol-o-quick: a one step irrigating solution in Endodontics’.

He was given the honour of ‘Entrepreneur Dentist of the year’ by ‘Famdent’ in 2013 and 2015. He is the President of IDA Nasik branch and is an associate member of the Indian Endodontic Society.
